Before School Care

Hours of Operation

Kilkenny Before School Care hours of operation are from 7.00am to 8.30am Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).

  • 7.00 - 8.15am Breakfast will be served. Children will have a choice of cereals and toast. Children will be provided with juice, milk or water.
  • 7.00 - 8.30am Children may participate in quiet activies such as drawing, board games and watching television. (Children are only permitted to watch G and PG rated movies or programs that are age/stage appropriate). Children are welcome to do homework and stff will assist if the child requires help.
  • Before School Fees are $20.00
  • All fees need to be paid weekly or fortnightly,  or Debt Collection process will commence.

After School Care

Hours of Operation

  • Kilkenny After School Care hours of operation are from 3.10pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
  • We offer a 2.10pm - 6.00pm long afternoon session on the last day of the term for Kilkenny Primary Students.
  • A staff member will collect children coming from Kindy, Reception or Early Years and take them to the OSHC building.
  • After School Care fees are $25.00
  • All fees need to be paid weekly or fortnightly, or Debt Collection process will commence on approval by Governing Council.

Program and Planning

Kilkenny After School Care Program and planning reflects the individual needs and cultural diversity of the community and tries to incorporate the views of parents/guardians and OSHC children.

The program is developed on a weekly basis and is varied to be inclusive of all children within the service. Our program encompasses activities that reflect parts of the school life, indoor and outdoor play, Arts, Craft and recreational areas and leisure activities.

All experiences are culturally, developmentally and educationally relevant to the needs of your child.

  • Vacation Care hours of operation are from 7.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
  • Vacation Care fees are $50.00 per day per child
  • $55.00 charge per child for excursion days
