Literacy & Numeracy

Explicit teaching of the skills of literacy and numeracy is of the highest priorities within the daily school program. Additional student support is provided in all classes during these lessons.

Students engage in specific programs designed to  promote increased skills in reading, spelling and mathmatics, ie: words their way, multilit, 3 part numeracy block

Explicit teaching of reading skills through small group or 1:1 focus and the use of engaging reading materials, ie: literacy pro

Languages other than English.  Indonesian is our chosen language and is taught Rec - Yr 4 with a Specialist teacher
